District 4: Twin Peaks West

The hilly "west of Twin Peaks" District offers interesting architectural diversity. Homes generally are less pricey in the flatter area, and pricier in the hills - with Forest Hill and St. Francis Wood at the top of the list. Neighborhood shopping is found on West Portal Ave. and along Ocean Ave.
